One of my dearewst freinds andsstudents is Fred Paterno who had a fantastic Luthuer as a friend named Abe, who did'nt have the exposure that his skills desereved. Fred believed that if Abe made a bass for me it would boost his visibility.

Shaffa is the first bass that Abe Rivera of Huntington New York ever made. The year was 1983. You can hear her on most of my recent solo CD's.

Let me know if Fred was right.
