"Nope its the original neck, its the "FSR" element of it. The Factory Special Runs usually do a "mix and match" or "vintage modified" approach, sometimes as a way to test out potential new guitars or options. Usually they have different colors, or hardware, some different electronics, or in this case a different neck. You will also notice the frets are not the thin wire ones usually found. I got this guitar for this reason, after having several other 62 reissues, since those feature do not impact the sound at all, but do make it easier to play and fix.
Here's some info on that particular FSR (note your's does NOT have the noiseless pickups, they are the 62 reissue ones):
